About the CCUSA
The Cambridgeshire Cricket Umpires & Scorers Association was formed in 1967 with just 8 members. It now comprises over 60 members who support East Anglian cricket at all levels from First Class matches to Under 11 schools games, via the ECB First Class, County Second XI, Minor County, East Anglian Premier and Cambridgeshire Premier panels, Cambridgeshire local clubs, all youth and colt levels, district, University and schools matches - men and boys, women and girls. We can find a game at a level for anyone from the grizzled old veteran to the complete novice Umpire.
We are the County Association of the ECB Association of Cricket Officials (ECB ACO) and a member of the Cambridgeshire Cricket Board.
Monthly winter meetings are held at the Ex-services Club, Barnwell Drive (off Barnwell Road), Cambridge at 7.30 p.m. outside the season and an Annual Dinner in Winter. The meeting dates and agendas are announced on the notice board. We have open sessions, training sessions, guest speakers, quizzes and always something different each month. New members are always welcome to come along.
